Just Keep Swimming

It’s hard to believe i only just started this leg of my journey less than 6 months ago. I had a plan to start doing a few local shows and see how things went. Weeeeellllll… so far this year I’ve done 9 shows and have committed to 3 more and hoping to secure another 2.

Phew! It’s been a wild ride!

I have learned so much in the past several months. The most wild and amazing thing being that I didn't have to fit in. From the very first show I saw people were more drawn (get it? 🤣🤷‍♂️) to the portraits I have always loved doing best. So, big and fast changes and I saw my sales turn around.

Since then, I have changed the layout of my booth for every single show. Invested time and money into things that ended up being a waste, and some being perfect. I’ve still got so much learning to do, but this adventure is already set to continue into 2025. I’ve got several shows already booked and will make a calender available soon.
